After touring Crete this year and many years previously I can honestly say this is the best food in Crete. The dishes are authentic and home made. Most in a wood oven to impart its magic.
I felt as if I was eating with my Greek family. The music, dancing and food at Poliou House beat anywhere else we visited. I wish I could go there everyday and eat every meal at the Poliou House!
